These and many other spontaneous outburst of satisfaction have been heard from pastors, missionaries and lay people upon completion of their Evangelism Explosion training either at a six day Leadership Clinic or a thirteen-week training semester in our Church!
Many of these leaders and lay people have written to the Evangelism Explosion International offices expressing enthusiastic appreciation in such words as these:
“We were laboring with a hoe, and you’ve given us a tractor with driving lessons included!”
“We were fishing with a stick and a string, and you have given us a fishing line, maybe even a net!”
“It has taken conversations which otherwise were stuck in neutral, and put them in drive!”
“The training has given me confidence to share with anyone, anytime. Praise God, and thank you again!”
One pastor, who saw 103 new members added to his church in the eight months that followed his EE clinic training said: “This is the mot revolutionary technique in personal evangelism for mobilizing the sleeping gaint of church laity to be discovered in the twentieth century!”
In 1967 Evangelism Explosion’s first Leadership Training Clinic was taught by its Founder and President, Dr. D. James Kennedy, in the Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church, Fort Launderdale, Florida with 36 pastors attending. Soon it became apparent that this founding pastor and church could not host and train al the pastors, missionaries and lay people desiring to be equipped. In 1972 EE spread to other cities, in 1983 to all the continents, and in 1995 to every nation on earth!
Population explotion demanded an evangelism explosion, so God gave birth to just such a ministry, and its founder called it
“EVANGELISM EXPLOSION”
Now this is where YOU come into the picture! This training will equip you to more effectively share the Gospel with your friends, relatives, associates and neighbours. Then, in return, it will help you to train others to do the same. EE aims to equip churches of every denomination, every nation and eventually every people group for the work of friendship, evangelism, discipleship and healthy growth.
